im so proud of my cousin! he has 3 beautiful babies. and this is his newest. she peed on me and was up the entire time:) her are just a couple from our mini session. hopefully more to come! shes 5 days old here;)

4. i cant believe i have documented this lil guys whole life! one year is coming up quick!

5. my husband and i have been married for 5 years in may!!!! i cant believe it! we are really REALLY trying to go on a much needed honeymoon that we never got to take!

6. has realized that listening to my music loud makes me feel free!

7. tonight terrance had his last basketball game... he loves basketball i wish it was longer than 5 weeks! he really wanted to go to cicis to eat, so off we went;)

8. amya starts gymnastics Thursday!

well at least i thought i felt spring coming, the birds were chirping the other morning when the sun was shining and the skies were blue, i have to admit my kids are going crazy in the house! we are ready spring when you are. im thinking at least another 4 weeks;)

i did get the chance to go outside and shoot yesterday! it felt so good to be outside!!!

6 month olds rock! and dirby was perfect! he couldn't crawl yet but he could sit! he cracked me up the whole time! i had black and white striped socks on and he would NOT take his eyes off of them;) his momma and i thought it would be adorable to get some pictures taken in the snow, so i pulled my grandpas old sled and we tromped though the snow. he did get to touch the snow and that was the end of that;)

1. thank god its friday! this weekend is packed full of plans. birthday party tonight another one on sunday 2 sessions and 2 other photography events;) GO 2010!

5. have i mentioned how much amya is talking now...which means only 2 more things are left untill she is officially not a baby! which is she has one 2 year molar that isnt threw yet and shes almost potty trained....what will i do when her molar is threw and she is completely potty trained!??? i will cry!

so this year one of my goals is to post 1000 things threw out the year that make me happy, truely happy! the kind of happy you can feel in your heart!!!!

so heres
#1 the SUN!
this winter has gotten to me! really if the sun is shining my day is 100% better;)

so i missed 10 on tuesday, not much is going on here!
taryn got off the bus yesterday and was pretty upset, i guess some little girl hit her:( so it all begins i dont think im ready for all this!!!!!!
other than that things are great!

kindergarten

well i have to admit i was so excited for taryn to start kindergarten! now not so much! shes gone all day! some might think YAY! me not so much! i get her up feed her do her hair make sure she brushes her teeth and then off shes goes on the bus (which she was dying to ride) then she comes home wants to eat, color and sleep! shes learning so much! the reading is killing me! i cant believe how much she can read already! i cant wait until she can read me books, there i go again wishin she was older.....i take that back i can wait;) it does make my time with amya a little more special, i know what to expect now!!!!!!!!! speaking of amya, taryn is so good to her! shes like a little mommy! shes the best big sister!!! DONT get me wrong there have been a couple HUGE girl fights;) not looking forward to the teenage years!!!

im still working on my favs from 09 post! i think iv been going a little over board!;)

ok so 1st things 1st i guess one of my resolutions should be BLOG more;)
we had an amazing christmas! we got to spend time with our family and friends really helped the christmas spirt! the kids and i also got to go to california to see my little sister who we missed dearly! (for 9 days, man i missed my hubby) in california we went to disney! and the ocean! santa monica was beautiful! the car rider there and back was NOT FUN! the car ride there the kids ALL got a stomach bug! that stunk! the way back we got stuck in stand still traffic for 4 hours! but all and all we had a blast! we didnt like coming home to freezing temps!

i better post some pictures!

well i got my wish for a snow day!
14 inches of snow! we couldn't leave if we wanted to! it was nice. slowed us down a bit! we baked. the kids played outside! wrapped presents!
i tried shoveling....its defiantly my husbands thing!

but the best part about playing outside was warmin up!

so a couple friends and i had it kind of planned to take a couple pictures when it snowed!!!

10 on tuesday

1.wow it is snowing like crazy today! school was let out early, which i kinda like!

2.im secretly hoping that to marrow is a snow day, i would love to make my aunts oh so good sugar cookie recipe!

3. im still not done Christmas shopping....i dont even know what the "perfect gift" is that im looking for!

4. the day after christmas my kiddos and i are taking a much needed vacation to California to see my sister! we are so excited! so i will leave on the 26th and wont be back until the 5th!

5. taryn has her 1st dance recital on Friday! were are so excited to watch it! i cannot believe how fast she is growing! if only she could make up her mind on what activity she wants to do. she goes from dance, to gymnastics, to cheerleading!

6. we took the kids to kidman farms they got to see santa and his real reindeer! we didnt get a real tree but we went and looked at them! maybe some year!

lil terrance has not been diggin the whole picture thing, im tryin to give him space! hahaha

7. if you have school aged kids you know that when it snows you have to pack everything or send them in it! taryn loves that she gets to take her snow gear with her! i think its a pain but atleast she gets to play outside and get some fresh air everyday which i love!

8. i really want some black uggs! really bad i hope santa is reading this! ha

9. speaking of santa amya goes around the house all the time sayin santa says "HO HO HO MEDY CHRTMAS!" it is so cute in person!

10. i love getting christmas cards in the mail love it!!!

2 years ago i was staring down and this precious little girl, before i had her i didnt know what to expect. will i love her like i love my 1st daughter taryn will she love pink and princess's? will she love her brother and sister? will she want to do gymnastics? Amya defiantly is amya! she loves pink and spiderman! she loves both her brother and sister! and YES i love her just as much as taryn! she loves having her fingernails painted! and she loves wrestling with her dad! she loves her best friends lele and i lie (thats what she calls them). i cant even explain how much we love you! no words could ever explain the feeling we have for you! (or my other babies) and i dont know what my family would do without her. we love you amya. HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY!

YAY ITS TUESDAY AND IM ACTUALLY BLOGGING;)

ok so im off to a 10 on tuesday with a sneak peak thrown in;)

1. like i said yesterday amya turns 2 on Friday, were having a party on Sunday for her! what do you get a 2 year old that has 2 older siblings????? she could always use clothes right??

2. i had a session today with a beautiful little girl! she is 3 months old the 1st time i had a session with her i got this

3. i get to get my hair done tonight! i CANNOT wait! i have no idea what color/colors im dieing it but i know i will come back different!

4. i re-decorated my house with order;) Christmas cards have taken over out home!!! i love when my clients get to see their cards!

5. santa dropped off taryns present the other day! god i love ups! i cant wait till she opens her 1st American girl doll! she really understands Christmas now! she cant wait to bake Jesus a birthday cake! she now only asks for one thing compared to her brother who asks for the whole toys r us add!

6. i really wish it wasnt 60 today in des moines because tomarrow when its 38 im gonna cry!

where oh where have i been?

i know i have been seriously slacking lately! with 3 kids and a full time job+ photography i cant find myself;) hummm im trying to think of the last time i really really blogged....maybe never. when have i really blogged about my life, my great sessions, my kiddos, or just anything??? well im gonna start now.:)

well its a Monday, it wouldnt have been so bad BUT amya still isnt feeling that well. she had surgery last Wednesday. she had her old tubes in her ears takin out and new ones put in! plus they took out her adenoids. surgery went great thank the lord! but she has been crabby. and her breath is not to nice either! (i guess thats common) hopefully by Friday which is her 2nd birthday shell be feeling better!

Terrance and taryn are doing great terrance is always running around dancing, worring about santa sneaking a peak at him. and taryn is always coloring or making something out of recycling. kindergarten keeps her pretty busy!

ok ok i have to leavin something for me to write about on 10 on Tuesday!

today i got to meet up with the cutest couple ever;) yes it was cold out and yes our fingers almost froze off but we had a blast;) so meet the lahr family!

mr. lahr has been serving our county in Afghanistan and is just back for a little bit before he has to go back. THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY! Caitlin what a great wife you are to support him and to send him his goodies;) you could totally tell how in love these two were;)

1. i love fall, really i do! i love the tree colors the fresh air, ALL OF IT! but dang its been so cold out

1.i was planning a trip to Vegas for his birthday is was a surprise but its NOT anymore i guess my secrets aren't kept well! were both really excited!

2.speaking of my husband he surprised me with this! which Ive been looking for for a very long time!

3. still haven't gotten around to taking lil terrances 4 year pictures, i went and finally got him something to wear so any day now ill be doing that;)

4. i still have been taking pictures of him! and sometime he HATES it....

5. its getting harder by the day to send taryn to school all day! i know that it will all be ok! she loves it but we miss her;)

6. i am getting supper booked for next month!

7. i had a session with a 3 month old, which is a hard age for me but with his cuteness i don't think you could get a bad picture;)

8. i am now REALLY READY for fall! i cant wait to go to the pumpkin patch;)

oh ya ya I'm way behind on blogging my BAD!;) so here it goes my little man turned 4 on Monday! man how time flies! hes growing up so fast i cant believe it! and he is such a boy! he LOVEs spiderman, batman, his new bike, skateboard, and wrestling with daddy, but he still loves his momma;) were are preparing for his 4 year old photo shoot anytime this week! but for now this is what i get a day before his big day;)

and her best friend (my god daughter) is doing the same! i took miss m out for her 18 month pictures and she ROCKED! she is just adorable! i love her like my own!

1. so iv been super dooper busy! taryn started kindergarten yesterday! i just knew id cry, well were outside waiting and i see the bus driving toward my house....i could feel the tears wellin up! she starts waving and jumping up and down and the stinkin bus just cruises right by her!!! she was so sad, we got her to school and she got to ride the bus home! she loves riding the bus! she said her day was great! im happy she loves it!

2. less than one week and lil terrance turns 4!!! he is pretty sad that taryn is in school now and he doesnt start untill sept 8th! the pictures below i think explains how amya feels about the school season starting!!!!! shes secretly thinkin YES YES YES mommy all to my self;)

renewing vows...

today i got to go see my dear friend jenna renew her wedding vows! jenna is beautiful! the summer i met her was the best summer i had ever had and she talked about jason all the time... i went to high school with both of them. they were high school sweet hearts! college kind of separated them a little but they didn't let go of the LOVE that they had for each other!!! after many attempts at long distant dating they couldn't take it anymore and decided to get married about a year ago, with just their closest family members. it was important to both of them that the rest of their family was there so today they renewed their vows! their love is still STRONG! they had no issues with kissing! and were a blast! and the best part about it is their now expecting their first baby! i am so excited for them they will be awesome parents!!!!!!!! congrats guys!

hummmm its been so nice being on vacation especially since im on it with my great aunts who are a blast! i love her 3 boys to death! so we decided to pack up and go boating, since lil terrance wanted to go tubing so so so bad! we packed up a lunch and some snacks, our towels and fishing poles and off we went! amya loved the beach, taryn loved the sand, and lil terrance loved the boat! now for my hubby (who is a kid at heart) he also loved tubing!;) here are a couple of my favs!!!

our family got all packed up and drove 8 hours to my aunt and uncles house in wisconsin! we love it here! yesterday we pretty much just hung out since it was a little bit of a long drive! today we went craw fishin'! the kids were a little iffy at first but once they saw their older cousins fishin for them they were all for it! we caught a ton! it is beautiful here!

if you want to know what to wear when you go craw fishin' rain boots and a glove! who needs nets??

1. it feels like i just wrote last weeks 10 on Tuesday! this week will go by sluggish since we leave for Wisconsin on Sunday:)

2. couple more days until my week vacation I'm so excited! packing for 3 kids isn't the funniest but knowing they will have this memory for ever totally is! (OK so maybe their still too young to remember everything but I'm a photographer right?)

3. i love this weed! or is it a flower?

4. we are getting family pictures taken tomorrow talking about stressed!!!!!

5. school shopping for taryn has been fun;) taryn is so excited for kindergarten! i had to take the kids to the dentist today they were scared, talking about monsters in the office! whoo so glad they went in like troopers little terrance said "wow mom I'm brave!" yes baby boy you are! now on that note amya does have to go to the dentist tomorrow I'm a little scared she is a bully!:)

i got to spend the whole day with an amazing bride and her fabulous family and friends not to mention her NEW husband! the whole day was beautiful! her wedding party was a blast! the bride DID NOT stop smiling! really she didn't! i love the love between her and her NEW husband! they were perfect for each other! i love the father daughter dance! i love that i got to watch her sing to her new husband! i love that he was down for anything! thanks guys for letting me tag along the whole day! i hope you had a blast on your honeymoon, next time ill make sure i know where my suitcase is so that i can be the event photographer!;)

taking senior pictures is probably one of the funnest things to do;) seniors pose, they dont run away, they listen, and they LOVE gettin their picture taken! miss g was just a little nervous but once my bf (who was helping me) and i told her this line "mike is wearing PINK underwear!" (which by the way we use on 4 year olds all the time) she was cracked. miss g was a great model! and dont worry mom pretty sure this girl smiled from her soul;) miss g this is a HUGE step and just the start of the amazing things that are still coming in your life! do what makes you happy and smile from your soul!

10 on tuesday...camp crowdy addition

1. every year my aunt has all the little cousins come up to her lake house for camp crowdy! my kids love it! i think they all love it! anyways every year we do crafts and games, this year they made shirts and were in a little parade;) the most important is the yearly picture;) last year they did watermelon with their picture this year we did corn! lolol

2.this year we did something new! lumber ball! and it was a total blast! we didnt have a bat but our piece of lumber did;)

5. we also went to the beach! it was amyas first time she of course loved it! loved the sand the water the goggles EVERYTHING!
